PS3 startup error

A friend of mine sent me an email. PS CS3 is popping up a msg

The Monitor profile "LCD color management and conversion" appears to be defective. Please re run your monitor calibration software.

Hit ignore Profile or Continue.

he is running Vista and cs3.

He doesnt have a hardware calibration system eveyhthign is a stock load.

Any ideas?

If you have CS2 accessible do the following, else get a calibration
software.
1) Copy the Gamma application from your CS2 install to your vista
machine (Program Files >Common Files)
This will include the gamma exe and the control panel app CPL file.
2) Run the CPL to open the wizard
3) After the calibration wizard runs save the profile under a new name
4) Go to your montitor display options (Desktop>Personalize>Display
Settings>Advanced Settings>Color Management)
5) Under devices remove the corrupt profile assigned and add the new
one just created.
6) Run Photoshop and error should be gone.
