An XL2 on ebay went for ~$2500 and the 3x goes for ~$500. Take off the almost 10% that ebay gets from your sale from various fees and the value of your gear was ~$2700. That isn't exactly giving it away.

BRAND NEW XL2 and BRAND NEW 3x. Yeh right you can get it from ebay for the same condition.
But again, who really care of what other people sell at dirt cheap or super ridiculous price? If you have the gut to go for it then you'll get a good deal.
