I have seen many people who bought pre Blue Dot 1DmkIII's that are very unhappy with the body, even after the fix..I am a very happy Blue Dot owner....Where do you land?

I tried posting a poll but I waited too long to post it and it wouldn't stick....I'm curious, I know there are some real problems, but I want to know if the Blue Dots, Like mine are typically good performers......Please lets not bicker, just post what type of owner you are...thanks

Happy Blue-Dotter here, although haven't pushed my Mark III to the limits that BIFfers have.

I'm not thatKatMat, but I would think that a poll that asks people if they have factory blue-dot cameras and if they're satisfied with the performance or not.

Same question for repaired pre-blue dot models might be of interest also. I know that I am interested in this.

Based on the answers so far, and extrapolating obvious other possibilities, is this about right for options?

Pre Blue Dot, It's great!
Pre Blue Dot, I think it's good?
Pre Blue Dot, It has problems
Blue Dot, it's great!
Blue Dot, Not sure
Blue Dot, it's pants

Something like that?

Which type of 1DmkIII owner are you?

poll

I fleshed it out a little, but went with your basic ideas.
We seem to have a few that mention in threads that they aren't sure yet, etc.. so I left an undecided, but otherwise, we have all three versions covered, three options each.

I also edited the title so those who abandoned the MarkIII would still have a place to vote.

Need a "just want to see the results" category also, for people like me!

Tom, this is not FM forum's archaic lame forum software, POTN polls have ALWAYS had that option built in, without the need to add a separate poll choice.

Just click "view poll results" :)
