This is my fiance's and my cat Jackson, he is said to be the best cat in the world, and any one who meets him wants to take him home.

First shot with 24-105, second with a Lensbabie 2.0 (those things are fun)

first few shots with the 5D. I had to fight myself to buy hardware that's 3 years old, but after 2days with this camera, I dig it. f/5.6, 1/200, iso 100 shot on the 85mm 1.8 USM

Spirit, I can't say that you made a bad choice, otherwise, I'd be lying.

Dave...I like the 3rd one...something definately interesting about that one, with the tones.

^^ Tones are decent in that one, but the sky has a weird gradient effect?

Yea, I really like that shot too. The one in the middle is really nice as well.

add just the slightest amount of noise in photoshop to the layer creating banding and it will reduce or take it away depending on how far you push it.

^ I liked the first one better...this one takes away a bit..and softens her jawline, which was nicer, in the first.

Oh...and my cam. finally turned over 10K clicks. Almost 2 years...in October.

Hello,
I like the pose in #1 and #2, not as crazy about #3, but I REALLY like the
color/tones in #2. To me, it's perfect for the subjects.
I don't seem to find anything really sharp in any of the photos,
namely the eyes, so I don't know if it's the lens that you used,
if it tends to be a soft lens, or the autofocus.
Do you see what I'm saying? In the last photo the far eye is sharp but the other is muddy.

The two girls together--love their pose--and the softness about them, but
I would still love to see their eyes sharp. It might be your lens. What did you use? No Exif info available with your pics.
Happy shooting!
