I rolled the dice hoping to find a spot where there would be sufficient "Alpen Glow" on the landscape facing me to balance the moon and it almost worked. By the time the full disc had cleared the ridgeline, the contrast ratio was out of reach.

Can one really love a lens too much?

Thanks! It was my only keep of the day, but hey, one keeper is better than none right!

I saw the size of the moon on my way home tonight and cursed myself for not putting my camera in my pickup. It was big and bright for sure.

Just wanna say Hi, greetings from Sweden and brand new owner to 5D paired with 50m 1.4, i couldn't justify purchase of 5D MKII, maybe som other time when i start to make money from photography Anyway i think is awesome forum with only Canon folks. Nice. Have a nice one all.
