And you were in Montana??

Well, you'd best be prepared next time, cowboy:)!

No, back home in CA now for just a bit longer. Just went out to watch the football game and eat, didn't remember the moon was so big that night :(

I REALLY like this shot. The sky, the trees, the leading lines, they all work together so well.

Thanks! It's really one of my favorites and my best with my 5D so far!

@ cowboylife (Tyler?)

That looks very "crisp", and I'm not just talking about the temperature. :)
BTW, Nice to see that I'm not the only one around here that plays with alternate manual focus lenses. ;)
Your shot is GORGEOUS!
-Bruce

Thanks. Yeah it was a balmy 10 degrees or so that day if I recall. Not exactly jeans and t-shirt weather. I'm really happy with the Olympus. Can't say enough good things about that lens. Such an amazing lens on fullframe.

versedmb wrote in post #7059267 (external link)
Love it. I've heard that Zuiko is a fantastic lens.

It is. Hard to beat a wide angle on full frame that is sharp and great color for around $100.

cowboylife...looks 'cold' out there, but, it's a very pleasing scene. Good exposure on the snow...too!

Thanks. I was real happy with it!

Little different subject:
Sometimes Booger(cats name -look at nose:)) is harassed by other male cats and people who do not like cats, so he enjoys coming in for a while for some security. He jumps up on the lazy chair and enjoys some peaceful sack time.Of course i get to snap a few pics.Shutter speeds are pretty slow but still not bad.

All shot at iso 1600 and underexposed a bit and taken with the Sigma 150

Seriously. I've lived in the snow belt...and lemme tell ya...I don't want to deal with it anymore. I'd rather the rain, and tropical storms. Now hurricanes...I don't want to jinx.

Thanks.

I lived in FL for a few years and I missed the snow. I love it when it snows here on the weekend when I can simply enjoy it, but its no fun when your late for work because of some idiot doing 10mph. I just wish winter was a bit shorter; its 17 degrees here right now. ;)

Interesting name for your cat Jim. bugger, eh? haha.

Here's an HDR I did...but, I won't cross post the picture. So, if you'd like to see the Jacksonville Downtown area, in HDR, Click Here. Thanks!

Very subtle Manish! You wouldn't be able to tell that was HDR if it wasn't told...

A question though, wouldn't you have been able to do that in a single exposure?
