Doubt that they'd dip that far Perry. Looking at the 24L as an example, it dropped maybe $50 to $100 max in the used market after the release of the Mark II

Name is Peter and here is my gear:
Canon 5D II, Canon 7D, Canon 40D
Glass - Zeiss 21 f/2.8 ZE, Canon 35 f/1.4L, Canon 40 f/2.8 STM, Canon 24-70 f/2.8

Yeah exactly. 'Tis a shame :p. But I'm not in the market for anything new right now. I am completely content with my lineup of glass and bodies. At most I'll send the 50 to Sigma, but I think I'm pretty darn happy (to be honest I only need the three, the 50 and 135 are luxuries).

Oooh nice light - do you have a non-HDR/tonemapped version?

Playing round with mine more over the last few days, I notice that it has some vignetting in the corners at time... Is this normal when used with the 24-105L?

Sorry if this is a stupid/obvious question!

Example (EXIF intact):

Just too add, I also get it when used with my HiLite background.

Thanks!

Or in just 5 seconds in photoshop...the 5D2 just does it in camera too if you want, Nikon-style .

I don't want a 5D2, even though it's a great camera. You can get a 5D + 85L for that price, and for what I shoot, there is not a single thing that the 5D2 offers me over the 5D classic.

The 1D Mark III though...:D

Lightroom does a pretty good job as well, for those of us who are too lazy to resort to Photoshop:)!
