It is delicious. I just want to strap on a tight banana hammock and prance around my 5D. But instead I'll contribute to this thread. ;)

Umm...I can't believe you 'typed' that on a 'public' forum...but, whatever. To each their own.

I enjoy seeing the same comment over and over when people get their new 5D -- it's always WOW and then I have to smile because it's EXACTLY what I said when I fired off a few and saw them on my monitor. WOW is just the beginning because then you start adding lenses, like the 100mm f/2.8 macro I just received yesterday. Here is one that made me say WOW all over again:

1/250 sec @ f/4.5

I absolutely love this camera. It has exceeded all of my expectations. There will be a slight learning curve with the macro, I suspect.

I photograph to find out what something will look like photographed.

How sweet is the kit lens 24-105IS f.4 on the 5D? Scale of 1-10, 10 being best.

Please rate this 24-105 against all the other lenses you put on your beloved 5D too...I'm just curious if I should keep this lens if I got the kit. I hear a lot of bad things about the brick 24-70 though.

Overall, I suppose all L lenses are best used on an FF. But not much has been said about the lens that go onto this fantastic camera to make all those shots on this thread. These lenses MUST be complimented too....and mentioned.

On FF, its a very good lens. Its like 15-65 on a crop. Its only limitations are f/4, distortion at the wide end and sometimes ugly bokeh.

Oh yeah for sure.I want to see how it compares with colours in general. 400D vs 5D. Bit of a no brainer but often higher end bodies sometimes fall over silly things. Enjoy your evening dude.

The date on that is real puzzling to me. It's like deja vu. I swear I've seen that picture years ago. Anyone else?
