I picked up some Green Clean wet & dry sensor swabs today in order to take care of the dust. The instructions say not to use the swabs until after I've used their vacuuming process. If I don't listen, I may scratch my sensor.

I see people swipe their sensors with cleaner & swabs all the time. Is this really a concern, or is Green Clean trying to scare me into buying their vacuum product?

Same deal as Canon saying, "Don't clean the sensor yourself, pay us 50 bucks to do it."
