I'm using a 100mm-40mm and for sharpness need to shot a little more wide open and I have so many to go through it makes it hard to do alot of PP on them. But thanks for the comments I was starting to think Rugby was band or something nobody comments on it. To take Pictures is a gift to post them on POTN is an Honor.

A good rule to bear in mind for rugby is to shoot when you can see the whites of the eyes - adds an additional dimension to the shot. Obviously some shots work without that (i.e. 1) however with the lens length you have, catching people coming straight at you should be possible. See if you can dig out some of my posts from last year or look at the stuff of Jim9449 or musicmate for examples. Also, keep an eye on your sharpening - 2 looks a little unnatural around the edges.

Thank you for the tips I don't shot it very often, my brother plays and asked me to shot some games and it's kind of fun. To take Pictures is a gift to post them on POTN is an Honor.
