need a little advice with the sd1000

i am taking a trip in a few months and i want to take a few photos of some famous graves, this will be a once in a lifetime chance for me. any suggestions on what "settings" i should use? all ive ever really done up to this point is just point & shoot..

There aren't an awful lot of settings available on the SD1000. Are these indoor? Outdoor? Try practicing at a similar location near your home. Often the basic fully automated setting will be ample.

Just shoot and check, then if you don't like it make another pic.
At the end put it on photoshop and finish it. :D


Whatever you shoot just make sure it's on focus!

Put it in "Manual" mode and lock the ISO on either 80 or 100 for the best shots (assuming you have a steady hand and adequate lighting).
