need HeLp, new and lost!

I just purchased a Canon Powershot S5 IS........help!! I am clueless! I thought perhaps the camera would come with a DVD that would show me how to use this wonderful thing......but it didn't. I need to "watch" and learn........or be shown, reading this book is going t take me FoReVEr and I have a new grandbaby coming in a month!!!

So, is there somewhere that I can purchase an instructional DVD? Or is there someone out there (a very patient someone) who has this camera that can answer some really really basic questions for me?

and along with the info from here you should be up and snapping pix in no time.

Also using the auto mode will get you alot of really good pix right out of the box. I mostly shoot in manual mode and it's not as hard as it looks. Most of the adjustments you make you can see on the viewscreen and if you don't like the pic, it's digital! It doesn't cost you a thing to try different settings.

But if you do get stuck ask away and between the two sites someone will give you the answers you need.
