Click on the pics to make bigger.

1,3,4 & 5 I used an off the camera flash.
1,3 & 4 were taken with a Sigma 10-20mm
2 & 5 were taken with a Sigma 18-55mm

I think my favorite is 4 and least favorite is 2 but I do like the angle although the lighting is poor.

C&C welcome please.

Thanks

Sheldon

These are really cool. Very interesting shots on #3 and 4, I like that angle.

Thanks, I'm really chuffed with the way 3 & 4 have truned out.

I'm using a Canon 400d, I wouldn't carry anything more expensive on a bike thrashing through the woods just in case :-0

Amazing shots mate.

Did a MTB comp a while back. Didn't have such environment to shoot.
Wanna give my 5D a shot to see how the angles will give. Hope it will turn out close to what you got.

Great stuff mate.

Cheers

Nice series. ... # 3 is tops. The UWA works well in that pic.

Nice series Sheldona! What was your set up on #3, I´m thinking of shutter speed, aperture, flash settings etc. Very nice!

looks a little underexposed. shoot 2/3 up to the right and add a little more saturation and contrast. On the wide shots( which is a great idea btw) maybe cut the distance you are from the bikers so they fill up more of the bottom of the frame. nice shots

Canon "Snappy".... Thanks Mom and Dad!

1/160 F4.0 ISO 200 off camera flash just out of shot to the right.

vpnd, agreed UWA shots are better close in but I wanted the rider to blend in a little to this one and show the surroundings more.
Thanks for the comments :-)
