Went to Planes of Fame in Chino for their Flying Leathernecks event where they talked about the Corsair. It was a cloudy overcast day which made for some challenging shooting. Here are a few of my shots. C/C welcome.

Great shots! One of my favorite planes, especially when "Super Corsair" is racing at Reno :)

Very nice composition, well done in less than ideal lighting.

Love that last fisheye shot! I was looking for a shot that had that characteristic wing of the F4...
Nice!

Maybe one of these days I can make it out there. Thanks.

Yup. Siggy has been seeing the light of day more often. I really love that lens.

I was bummed out as I couldn't get any shots of it flying because of the exposure. By the time I thought I might have it ready the gear was down. Thanks.

Nice!

I tried working that gullwing into a lot of shots, but I just couldn't make it work. It's a shame as they only bring out the corsair twice a year. They keep it tucked away in a display with the wings folded up.

Great shot of my all time favorite piston powered fighter. The gull wings are beautiful
