Isn't the new Sigma 18-125 OS coming out soon?

I have no idea when it's actually being released. But it looks nice with HSM and FTM added. But the compromise vis-a-vis the 18-200 OS is that it's slower aperture-wise and I wonder how much I would miss the 125-200mm, since I use 200mm quite a lot as a "walk around". I don't think I will give up the 18-200 OS for this new lens, but that's me.

I have just received my 18-200 OS today. and cant complain so far although i haven't had a chance to test it properly. But so far it does everything i want it to. The OS is a huge advantage plus the macro capabilities are very handy

The 18-200 OS does about 1:3 reproduction, which is more technically "close up" than "macro" (ie, life-size). But indeed it is another boon of this lens that you can get 1:3 reproduction at 200mm and the OS really aids with this.

See this comparison of MFD and magnification vis-a-vis the 1755 IS and 24105 IS http://www.pbase.com/lightrules/closeup (external link)

Can't wait to see how the upcoming 18-125 OS compares to this lens.
