First shots with the 100-400

I just had this delivered last week and these are literally my first shots. I had resisted the zoom for a long time but decided that it would really come in handy, and it did. I'm very happy with the versatility, portability and sharpness, and I can really chime in on those eternal 400/5.6 vs. 100-400 threads since I now own both!

Since I already posted the photos on the bird forum, here's the thread for those of you who don't regularly visit there.

Thanks - the EXIF is on all of the images so you can use Opanda IExif (external link) or something similar to view the settings. I think for the most part I shot wide open.
