I'm planning on going out to Eastern creek this weekend for the V8 etc and was hoping that you guys could point me in the right direction as to the best spots to cach the action - Friday looks loke a good option at this stage as there will be less of a crowd ?

turn 2 is good for action, turn 7 as they come over the crest and you can get the cars all lined up with a nice background, and i guess turn 11 as they come off to the main straight, you are pretty limited for good spots without media accreditation though, ie turn 9, turn 8, the inside of turn 10-11 and if its sunny it will be a real pain because of where the sun comes across at this time of year.

Friday is free so it will just be practise but you should get to see all the cars, i was thinking of going down friday too then watching on sunday from home.

My thinking exactly, and thanks - appreciate the info.
