Thanks for the 3rd place vote, and the advice. I am new to this and appreciate any advice I can get. This seems like a terrific forum.

I was pressed for ideas, riding a bike at the gym while reading a sports illustrated, noticed this full size cut out of the lens, took it home and put some thin wire on it to hold it too the camera. I was at the same time buying an adapter tube and some filters off ebay, that was pretty much the light bulb.

Ha! Wow, that's still pretty inventive! I would have just downloaded the highest res picture of the lens I could find on the web and just photoshopped it on there. :) That's hilarious, still get a good chuckle from that! Could you imagine walking up to the sidelines of say, the superbowl, with a little Canon P&S and that "add-on" lens, shoulder to shoulder with the big boys...haha... all they could say is.... what the @%$@!! Seriously funny stuff right there!

The hosting rules say that if the winner can't be contacted and doesn't post a new topic by Wednesday noon GMT the second place winner hosts the next challenge.

That time is well past, so it's up to you, Abuseddog, to get the next challenge underway - fast!
