Well started off with having every intention of going up to Hawkstone Park to watch the International MX but one thing led to another and i finally left the house to late to make it worth while going so a quick look on the net and found out that EMRA had a meeting at Mallory.

Now this was my first trip out with a camera since last year so thought it would be a good excuse to blow the cobwebs off both myself and the 1DMKIII and i know that these will not be everyones cup of tea as they are tightley framed but i was more intrested in practiceing my panning after the winter months rather more than my composition.

Mine still needs to be sent back to Canon UK for the fix but to be honest the software update has made it more usable. Only time i had very bad problems was during the Summer and when i was on Honeymoon in St Lucia.

Will be taking it to the service centre when i get some time of work next month so hope it will one day perform as good in the AF department as my old MKIIN but other than the AF problems the ISO,battery life etc compared to the MKIIN are amazing.
