flashing power light and symbol powershot A630

Please can anyone offer any help. I have a Powershot A630. The power lamp keeps flashing green and there is a flashing symbol on the display screen. This is a brown square with a white triangle in it and a tiny white square on the left hand side. I have put new batteries in. Thank you
