I was bored a few nights ago and went out take some night shots and ended up with this one.

This was from Harbor Island taking a shot at downtown San Diego.

I had to crop, rotate, correct white balance and use unsharp mask to get this version.

C&C welcome. Let me know what you think. TIA.

Nice shot. Would like to see some of the bottom cropped though.

Holy Canolli, that's sharp! It almost looks pasted against the sky! Nice shot!

Is that the Coronado Bridge?

I think the image is cool but there is too much black for my taste. Have you tried a panoramic crop?

Yes, that is the Coronado bridge.

I will try the crop when I am off work.

Here is my try on a panoramic version of the shot. Please let me know if I should completely get rid of the black water.

i would have liked to have seen a little bit longer exposure on this. to get more detail in the lights to really build what is there.

its really nice/ i love that you included the bridge in it.. ( but thats because i love bridges)

It's okay, at least I can see other examples, and I really like the shot you took with the reflections. What's the Exif data on that shot?

Thank you everyone for giving me feedback on my shot. I just started on DSLR or any type of SLR hobby on January of 2008. It really helps me a lot if someone comments. Again thank you.

This is one a 30 second exposure but I couldn't decide if I wanted to crop the sky off. Also this was at f/13 compared to the other one at f/16.

it was actually comprised of either 3 or 5 shots. i have the raws somewhere at home. i will have to dig em out to remember. pretty sure it was 5 vertical shots with my 70-200. combined them in ptgui. i think the exposure was around 13 seconds f7.1 OR 25 seconds f/11. cant remember...but the raws will tell me later.

Here is another shot using the 70-200 2.8 non IS. This one was straight out of the camera with no editing except for the image resize.
