Long-Tailed Tits

A few shots I've taken today of the Long-Tailed Tit. Taken with the 30D and 300mm f4 lens. Thanks for looking.

Sweet little birds. Do they make any noise?

Lovely. Number 2 is just gorgeous - I love it. I'm lucky if I see a couple of these guys once a year, never mind photograph them!

Do they!! - They tend to group together, and I love seeing them flitting about amongst the branches twittering away.
I get lucky sometimes to have them at the bottom of my garden (anything up to a dozen or so) looking for insects in the blackthorn trees (overgrown bushes then).

Really nice pics - well captured Lammie - they always remind me of little monkeys when I see them flinging themselves about between the branches, chasing each other. ha ha.

Sounds like fun birds, a lot like our titmouse.

Not an easy bird to photograph, they don't keep still long enough, well done.

I didn't do a lot of cropping as the bird was only about one and a half meters away, I only did it to position the bird away from the center.
