I made the trek up to the Rocket Star Cafe in Kalamazoo, MI to see Ribbons of Song and Ben and Bruno on the last stop of their little tour before they headed back to Grand Rapids. Locals Ish and Artwork and Kolka-Karmadon also played. The place was pretty crowded...at least for the first three acts, so I didn't do a whole lot of moving around.
I went to Steak and Shake afterwards and that was pretty cool. Getting 3 hrs of sleep and going to work the next morning wasn't.

Love #5, captured the atmosphere well. I can see my blue striped gloves in the picture, too :-)

#8 is amazing too, I like where the focus is and I like how it's cropped (very close/intimately.)

A quite excellent set. Shows what ISO3200 is for. And little Miss F at the concert, too? I'd drag my sorry butt up there just to be with her! :-)

Ah sometimes you just cant help it. I have seen myself shooting gig then going to the after show party getting home having a shower. Going to work then shooting another gig that night.

You are only young once :) It is a killer though hehe

I don't have to drag my butt too far to be with Miss F...we file our taxes jointly (as they say).

:D If I could just learn to shoot in the light I'd have it made. I have a feeling my low/no-light prowess is going to be put to the test when I shoot the Gutter Twins in a couple weeks. The first few shots I've seen from their tour have me a little worried.

Exactly...it's like "what the heck am I doing...", but I as long as I can afford gas, I can't really stop myself.

Very nice, intimate, if somewhat weird, set ;)
