My problem is that whenever I import a .cr2 raw file from my T2i it appears very pink tinted and nothing I do can change this. I tried uploading the files to my friends Mac with GIMP on it and it did the same exact thing. UFRaw is supposed to already be installed in this version of the GIMP. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this? T2i, 18-55IS, 50 1.4, Sigma 80-400 OS, Tamron 28-75 2.8

The latest version of UFRaw is 0.17 base on version 0.89 of dcraw. Try upgrading to the latest version from http://ufraw.sourceforge.net/

Went over to using "RawTherapee" which works very well though is a bit slow on my computer. It has a pretty comprehensive range of options and will transfer the image into Gimp at the press of a button where you can finish it off if you wish.

I prefer GIMP (cost if nothing else and there is a lot of else), but use File Info as the final step in my workflow to check the Title, Description, Keywords, etc. Hi Paulpp, I don't believe Gimp does that natively. You'd have to use a plugin: "...this was the destiny of our lives. A long time ago this was our future, looking now for a lost pomegranate at Big Sur." -R. Brautigan

Does it exist some plugin for GIMP that enable to apply the same change or sequence of operations to more than a picture? That is something similar to Lightroom. Canon EOS 400D - Canon EOS 77D - Tamron 17-50 f2.8 XR Di II AF - Canon 70-200 f/4 EF L IS - Flash Nissin Di866

Thanks I just opened the zip file and copied the "Gimp 2.0" folder inside to my "Program Files" folder and confirmed the warning about overwriting files. That adds the Resynthesizer files to all the right directories. "...this was the destiny of our lives. A long time ago this was our future, looking now for a lost pomegranate at Big Sur." -R.
