Are these reputable sellers on ebay or online stores? How much should I look to spend on a 20D or 30D with lens?

Adorama had one recently for $200, or was it 225? I had a local friend sell his 20D for 175 a few weeks ago. It sold quickly! I wish I had found out about it sooner personally!

There are an awful lot of good used DSLRs to choose from as people upgrade. I did a fair bit of research before I got my 20D. I initially wanted the 40D, but then worked out that for alot less cash I could get a 20D to get the DSLR experience. 5DMk2||50D|| Sigma 17-50| EF 50-1.8 | EF 28-135 IS | Tamron 70-300 |Tamron 10-24 | 430EZ ||

I like going to see an installation by the British sculptor, Anthony Gormley, on the sea shore at Crosby near Liverpool. It's called 'Another Place' and consists of several cast iron figures, taken from body casts of Gormley himself. They are placed at irregular intervals along the shore, above and below the high tide line, so depending on the time of day it looks different. This shot is taken from the waterbreak and it is nearly high tide. 5DMk2||50D|| Sigma 17-50| EF 50-1.8 | EF 28-135 IS | Tamron 70-300 |Tamron 10-24 | 430EZ ||

spear Senior Member 559 posts Joined Dec 2007 More info | The 20D is a great camera but it has one thing lacking that made me upgrade to a 40D and that is sensor cleaning. Depending on where you live, dust can be a real PIA if you take higher f stop shots. I don't think there is much difference in the IQ of the 20D and the 40D, they both are great. I have since upgraded to a 5 DII and have to admit that it is not often that my older cameras get action now, even though I think they are more than capable. My 20D is my first DSLR and I had to invest in a sensor cleaning kit very quickly. It is part of the routine. No matter what I do, or how careful I am, the stuff keeps appearing. I presumed it is because it is old. It's due for a clean this week as my last shots at f22 revealed a squiggle and a couple of dots! 5DMk2||50D|| Sigma 17-50| EF 50-1.8 | EF 28-135 IS | Tamron 70-300 |Tamron 10-24 | 430EZ ||
