just wanted to post that my 20D is now over five years old, and I still shoot with it regularly alongside my 1dmkIII and 5D. Still as great a camera as the day I pulled it out of the box.

Im the third owner of my 20D. As old as it is, it still gets the job done. Going to be using this puppy till it falls apart (being a broke student woohoo!)

I have been using my 30D for over 4 years now, and love it. I have over 40K clicks on mine, and even with a stubborn shutter button (I use the controller instead), it still does everything I ask of it. However, I am actually looking to upgrade to the 5DII for full-frame, higher resolution, higher IQ, and ISO expansion since I do a lot of night photography. Needless to say, the 30D is still a quality camera, and a shame that Canon doesn't really produce it anymore (but I understand at the same time).

I have had good success in the past using some contact cleaner from Radio Shack added to a stripped down Q-tip head and working some of the cleaner underneath the shutter button without having to take the camera apart.

Just as another possible option.
