That one actually started out as specific to the 20D, but they added the 30D because it is identical from an IQ perspective. I'm not sure why they lumped the 10D in there though, as it is actually quite a bit different.

The overall slowness of this camera finally did it in for me.

Lore Damn I failed the goat More info | I just posted some of my examples from a recent trip to a hawks game with my 30D in the "lens sample" section. I figure I'll post the samples here as well as the 30D exceeded my expectations (as did the lens) on that trip to the game. (however I still have dreams of toting a 70-200 2.8L IS of my very own to games) Lore

XXD cameras these days have more resolution, higher ISO's and more bells and whistles......but in 95% of shooting situations I would think that my trusty 20D could hold its own quite well.

They sure come in handy in weddings and event photography to have a lens and extra flash mounted ready to go. This is the camera I throw in the car just in case I want to take a shot unexpectedly, I think it's as capable as the other XXd's. The only thing I miss is the larger lcd to see the histogram and spot metering and after you start shooting with it you really don't miss it that much. 1D MKIIN 30D 20D and G6
