The real truth with most of us is while using whatever camera we currently have, we've yet to fully put to use all the features on that unit, and before long, especially when we hit a creative dry spell, we believe that our end product would be "so much better" if we could just get the newest body, the latest, greatest "L" or "IS" lens, just better equipment would save the day. Of course, in my case, all the above is true. Can I borrow $2500.00 quid from any of you...I saw a 5D Mark II at throwmoneyinadeephole.com and just can't bear to miss...........

Haha you're right. Im guilty of it. I went through 3 bodies thinking I needed more. I landed with a 20d. I don't think I need anymore unless I need a back up.

Oh so true!

Actually, the only reason id like to upgrade my 20D is due to the lack of screen size. Thats just a little cosmetic thing.

I love my 20D! Although, i love the screen/everything about my GF's 50D...haha

the bigger lcd is nice, but really..who shows people their pictures before they edit them? Close to none of us probably show our pictures to people on our camera screens..unless we're using them for random pictures.

I show some shots on my LCD if I am shooting things like senior portraits and stuff, just to give them a taste. I prefer to have it connected to my small laptop though when I am on location to give a bigger preview.

I got my 20D back from Canon. According to one of the repair techs, the entire camera was replaced except for the bottom plate, the battery door, and the primary circuit board. So now I have a basically brand new 20D, new shutter, new motor drive, everything. I've got a 40D now too. I'm thinking of getting it converted to IR once I can get my hands on a FF body. Until then, it'll be a trusty backup solution :).
