Animal Shelter that caught fire

I wasn't sure where else to put this (possibly still life?) since I never post things like this.

Last week my local animal shelter's puppy trailer caught fire due to an electrical fault in an air conditioning unit and unfortunately 39 animals were lost. 24 pups and 15 cats. I went and took photos for them to use for advertising and fundraising efforts.

It was a very emotional scene and just so tragic.

The last shot is particularly heart wrenching. Its hard to look at these shots, but I think good to post them.

I heard about that in the local news. Very sad.

2 Samuel 9:7-8, "So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.” Then he bowed himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?”

Tough subject to photograph...your images convey the sadness of the moment.

That's terrible, I hate to see things like that happen. As a firefighter I have seen pets die in fires but it is always a sad day. and a happy one when we can save the animals.
