Thanks for all of your comments- from what it sounds like I captured exactly what I intended to do. To me, this is what photography is all about and I am so glad I was able to capture that emotion for them.

These types of photographs remind me and show me exactly how powerful photography is. I mean whenever one is feeling a bit down about photography and perhaps a lack of motivation it does not take long to bounce back...

With inspirational work like this. I suppose its more than just the photographs but the photographer himself. Powerful work. Thanks for sharing.

Very upsetting and emotional shots, I don't think I can bear to look at them again. Kudos for having the strength to shoot them, great work.
