Very nice series Les. I know shooting these guys is harder than it looks. Are these crops? I have been wondering about the high megapixel counts of the 1Ds models and how much cropping they will stand up to. :)

Yes, they are cropped, but not heavily, a few slithers here and there to aid composition.

Fortunately, this day they were flying quite close.
