Hi;

You can do this in PhotoShop Elements (so I assume also the full PS)...

Go to File, Process Multiple Files, Specify your file sources, Select "Lables" and Select Watermark...

Or, there's a decent, independant facilty at;

You can do this easily in PS3, I just created an action that creates a watermark and then also resizes the image for web display. Then all you have to do is batch process all of the files you want to have watermarked...

I also think just about any editing program that does layers and that sort of thing can do a nice watermark for you.

I cannot tell you how many times this has been asked and answered in this forum. You will find many different ways of accomplishing this, within photoshop/Elements and third party software, if you take the time to review some of these past threads.

I have found one of the best methods is shown in this Russell Brown Video (external link). I use this almost exclusively now. I have taken it a bit further and broken this down into 4 smaller actions that allows me to make changes if I want to have different text, apply a different style, etc. then I can easily make the change without having to record a whole new action just to make a small change.

This video recommends that you use Illustrator to create the path for your text but photoshop can easily be substituted for this. Illustrator is however a much better choice for this, imo.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

All sound like good suggestions. Anyone else?

SSIM

Can you tell me how to make a text watermark a path. I have looked at the russel brown tutorial and eben installed Illustrator. But for the life of me I could not make my simple watermark a path.

Basically the issue I was having was that it would not keep the colours of my text, I only have 2 colours ( white / orange ). it would make it one colour or none at all. So I gave up in photoshop and tried illustrator, but had no idea what I was doing there.

Cheers

Lightroom is a product of adobe... like photoshop
Yes, you buy it.

It's like photoshop but designed for digital photography and helps you organise and even create flash web galleries on the fly.

Another vote for FastStone. I have it resize my images to 640x480, keeping the longest side 640, sharpen and apply a watermark all in one batch.

I set it, let it go, and go play Call of Duty 4.

It is really fast aswell. Can water mark 100 hi-res 2912 x 4368 in about 8 minutes :)
