Has anyone ever put together a cheat sheet of the "must have" shots in the order they would occur on the wedding day.

I've been asked to do my neices wedding and I'm fine with doing it but I'm a little afraid that I might miss one of the must have shots through the day.

I get my 'must have's' from the bride in a meeting. But there is a standard shot list around here somewhere...I'll go look for it!

You'll probably get more responses if you post this in the Wedding Forum.

Here's one example....

http://weddings.ivillage.com …/ceremony/0,,q5hb,00.html (external link)

from this Google search....

http://www.google.co.uk …=wedding+must+have+photos (external link)

However, a wedding is a wedding. It is not a photo shoot - unless you (actually, the B&G) choose to make it one. I would not want the photography to get in the way of the event. The photographer should be there to capture memories, not to choreograph proceedings. IMHO :) But it's horses for courses.

Like Grace said, there is a thread here somewhere. We started it a while ago. But the sharing forum would get more people seeing this thread.

Make sure you have the right gear to do the job, backup bodies, flashes, memory cards etc.... If your camera breaks half way through i can see your sister never speaking to you again!

:)

Which is why I have steered clear of weddings. I suppose this is a nice handy list for secondary wedding photographers to start memorising.
