Does anyone use PhotoReflect. If so I was wanting to know how well you like it and how they handle end of the year tax information.

I have used Photoreflect for about a year now. It seems to work well, I haven't had any real issues with them. They keep about 20% of the sale price of each image, so price your images accordingly.

As far as year end tax information, I didn't recieve anything from them. You are responsible for telling them which states you are obligated to collect sales tax for, and then they'll collect the tax and remit it to you. It's then your responsibility to file the appropriate tax forms for those states and to pay the taxes.

I imagine that if you sell in more than 1 state, you need to keep track of the taxes for each state separately. I don't think Photoreflect will break it down for you.

Well the way I do my face to face sales now is charge a flat price. then It all gets handled at the end of the year. So if I told them I was not charging tax they just would not charge any?

That's my understanding. I have made a couple of sales in states which I didn't let them (Photoreflect) know I needed to collect tax in, ,and they didn't collect any tax on those sales. So, if you don't register any states with them, I imagine they won't collect any tax.

I really like them. I have been fulfilling everything myself, and just hooked it up to a lab, makes things so much easier. As far as taxes, I just total everything out at the end of the year.
