Overall performance, including quick recycle of the flash, you won't bet the Eneloops or RayOVac Hybrids. Eneloops just a tic better maybe. Anything else is just not worth it anymore. Stick with the newest tech, Eneloop or Hybrid or internet order the Imedions from Thomas Distributing.

i just got my Eneloops delivered today so im going to get them installed and see how they do. from everything i have read all over the net they seem to be the hot ticket to use!!

I ended up ordering a La Crosse Technology BC-900 charger, 4 eneloops, and 4 Sanyo 2,700's. I'll report back after I get some experience with each.
Thanks for all the comments and suggestions! Big help...as usual! Otherwise, I wouldn't have known where to start!
