they love meeting new people, especially in their environment, Deb is really easy going, has a great smile and was really comfortable around them, this helped as well.

There would be few people, I would imagine, that wouldn't be comfortable around Deb. She would be a great asset to have at a shoot, I know she is a great asset to have here. :-)

Funny email :)

They are just jealous. Some people just are unaccepting of people who are different.

gosh, I'm having so much fun learning photoshop.....I'm going over shots I've never processed...this one was from the civil war shoot (she was in the refreshment tent (hence the NON civilwar prices)...her face was dark and I couldn't get it right in elements so I never messed much with it...but I like it now...whaddaya think?

then I converted it to sepia

I think you did a great job. she sure has a head full of teeth

Cybnew wrote in post #5136556 (external link)
Exactly. I started singing it, I did not finish it for this is the reaction that could have ensued. :)

Oh My.

Becky N wrote in post #5137263 (external link)
Then I'll give you your souvenirs first:

And sense John is here, a few for you too. (Sorry not use to these kind of shots and I wasn't quick enough to slow the shutter down a bit)

Note, that is not slurm, it is a bird, trust me, I cleaned a lot of slurm from many of the shots:

Cool shots Becky.

I finally got out Sunday and got some shots. I just dont have them uploaded. (and they are at home not here). Maybe I can post them this evening. I have a decent lady bug and a bumble bee that you can see the swirls in his eyes.

Yes, same brand as Crissa's different color scheme. Flash Gels fit over the flash unit, one way to use them is to change the color of your background. LINK

Thanks!

FINALLY - Uploading pics from last week.

Great photos, Becky!

It is an anole. They change color to match their background and stick their throats out at pretty girls.

very cool

short5 wrote in post #5137463 (external link)
 I mentioned a 21hour drive nonstop to key west the other day. On that trip we stopped on the way back in south Carolina and noticed an anole in the car. It was cold there so we took him home. He lived with us for a year and when we flew down the next year we smuggled him on the plane and took him home. We found a nice woodland where there were other anoles going up and down trees and let him go. We let him go on a log and he stopped, color corrected himself, and listened. he kept cocking his head and listening to what must have been familiar sound, it was hilarious. We sang "Born Free" and he scooted away. The anole story as told by Zane.

Awwww

Oh and your souvenirs, in celebration of your new 100, the first two were done with tubes and the 100 and my first attempt at refractions:

WOW!
