No, you just need to raise up the spinnaker. Should get you rolling a bit quicker :)

Wouldn't I find that distracting
Oh wait, you meant..........

I went to work, I came home, I walked Minnie, I went to bed, I woke up, I went back to work.

Not too bad, I guess.

Sounds good Lonnie! Far more productive than mine was at least :)

Morning everyone :)

boy, I don't know that I would have had the patience you did for all that. How frustrating. It must not have had that part for a long time! Glad it's working for you now though.

Believe me, there were times I wanted to take the thing and make a boat anchor out of it, but it kept working, sort of, so I really justify getting rid of it. And what the reapirs cost me didn't even come close to the cost of a viable replacement.

thomascanty wrote in post #5141357 (external link)
This morning at work I went to Java City for my grande (equivalent to Starbucks' Venti) nonfat mocha no whip. When I got there, five other people were in line in front of me. I waited my turn, got my mocha, paid, had my card stamped (one more and the next is free), then walked back to my department. On the way back it dawned on me. Not one single one of us in line actually told the woman who works there what we wanted. In fact, she was one step ahead of everyone and already had our order ready when it was our turn to step up to the counter. There are over 3,000 employees at the hospital where I work and she knows what all the regulars get by memory and starts making it as soon as she sees us walk in the door.

And I'm not really a regular visitor, either. I only go there once every week or two... She's good!

There's a coffe cart at the hospital where the gentleman I drive has appointments and the woman who runs it only took one time to learn what my order is. Of course, mine's pretty simple: black coffee with enough room in the cup for a little sugar.

thomascanty wrote in post #5141450 (external link)
Me, too! I'm lucky if I can still remember what I ordered when the wait(er/ress) brings my food to me.

You're too young for CRS...

Oh, that reminds me of the night my brother, his friend and myself went bar hopping in Burbank. This must have been about 1989. 1990 at the latest. We walked in, sidled up to the bar, each got a beer, then settled into a booth for a few minutes. After we drained the bottles, we got up and left, heading to the next bar down the road. Nothing remarkable happened at all.

I think it was maybe two or three months later when my brother and I got to talking about that one bar. In the short time while we sat down at the booth, we were looking through the food menu and had noticed they had something called a "Caviar Burger" for about $40. So... Months later, curiosity got the better of us and we decided to go back and ask if that was for real or just a joke item.

We walked back in the door, this time without my brother's friend. The same woman was tending bar. She looked up when we entered, smiled, and said "Michelob and Bud, right guys?"
