So I bought I Am Legend and watched the alternate ending. I must say, I can't choose between which ending I like more.
Both ends are so-so but the movie is amazing.
Hi everyone.

I'm not exactly sure why that is. I've never received a bashing from a thread that I've started. Sometimes, on those rare occasions when I do start a thread, I'll get three or four responses, and I figure that was about par for the course. Perhaps it's a combination of things. I'm not all that confident about my shots, so I don't like posting them up for the unwashed masses to peruse. I guess I'm not as thick skinned as others. If I got an overwhelming response of "You should sell all your gear 'cuz you suck." then I probably would and just move on to the next hobby, whatever that would be. Another aspect is that I don't really have much to say due to a lack of real experience. Many, many times I've gone to a thread, saw the shot, became the first poster on that thread by saying that I liked the shot, only to be followed by numerous other photogs saying that the shot was terrible, and here are fifty reasons why.... Well, OK, I'll just take my "I like the shot" comment and go to another sandbox.... Perhaps it's about trust. I trust the majority of those that post on these two threads to give me an honest answer. If someone like Cat, Wool, Zane or Crissa, for example, were to tell me that the shot was poor, I trust that they have my best interests at heart and would not just say such things for the sake of saying them. I can't say that I trust many people out in the general POTN public. I've seen too many people who will tear apart someone's perfectly good shot just to make themselves look big. Then again, maybe it's a matter of knowing that those that are in these threads are patient with me and others who are learning the Photo Craft, as it were. I think back to where I was a couple of years ago when I first started playing with the Rebel XT. I've come along. Maybe not as fast as others, but not stagnant either. There are those that are willing to nudge me along, show me new tricks and to do so without saying things like, "RTFM" or "Don't waste my time!" or "Don't you know how to use the Search Tool?" In my near worthless opinion, the RRTP and TPBM chat threads are a microcosm of what POTN should be as a whole. There may be other threads that have that same kind of reputation, but I've not been on them. It's hard enough to tackle these two. Because of the chemistry and the DNA of these two threads, I really don't have a need nor a desire to travel too far. This is not to say that I shouldn't wander off the reservation. I should. And, to be honest, I do lurk and occasionally post. But mostly I just like to lounge here at "home". Very well said  Canon XTi||Kit Lens||Tamron SP AF28-75/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF)||EF 50mm F/1.8 II ||EF 85mm f/1.8

After the first semester, most of the more advanced students would continue to enroll just to gain access to the darkroom. I rapidly got bored with the idea of spending three hours at a stretch in the darkroom, and started assisting some of the students that didn't have the experience I did. At the end of one semester I got a compliment from another who said she learned more from me than from the course's teacher... John
