I have to sing the praises of Neti with T.D. Between it and EmergenC cold symptoms this winter were gone within days rather than weeks.

Curt turned off the humidifier, it is noisy, while I was gone last week. I started noticing last evening and today some symptoms of dry sinuses. I'm going to see if Neti kicks it in the bud before I turn the humidifer, back on.

Back at ya, T.D.

And with that I'm out also. OH, almost forgot, our local park district is trying to start up a photo club. The first meeting is tomorrow night. Curt and I are going to check it out. I'll let you know how it goes.

Gah. Same strip here too. I was expecting this one to contain Jon's plan.

Tip to others: The strip in the other thread doesn't have it either.

OK so how necessary is a netipot? I mean, can't I just rinse with anything that'll do the job?

I used a bulb syringe on Cory, based on a web page that I can't find now

Well, I've been enlightened. I have heard others refer to this netipot thing, but did not have a clue what it was. I searched, and now I know.

Dan, I totally agree, my thought are right along the same line.

I snorkeled enough sea water through my sinuses when I was diving to take care of a thousand neti pot treatments...

There are always going to be those kinds of posts. I suppose if I had to answer the same question over and over again I would get more mean spirited than I already am. Having said that, however, if I ever get to the point that I my answers are laced with acid and vitriol, I need not answer. There are others that can pick up the slack when I need to bow out, and vice versa.

Whenever I get --> over some of the threads, I try to remember all the stupid things I've said in the past, and in the present. :o

Yeah, that's usually what I do too...

I had a guy at work yesterday ask me how to fill his windshield washer fluid and how to change his wiper blade. I was waiting for the "how do I open my hood?" next. Of course being the softy I am, I showed him.

I worked for two and half years in the tool department of a Home Depot. I have never run into more tool-ignorant people than I did when I worked there. It was the same as here. They wanted the cheapest tools they could get with no regard for the quality. I'd have guys come in and buy Black and Decker drills to use to do commercial drywall installation and then wonder why they burned out in a week...

You know I was really big on car forums for a while, not so much anymore. There is always some sort of "flaming" going on. Oh and ofcourse the *I know more then you* sort of ppl that want to always be right.

I've shown this before but for those of you that missed it, you should check out http://militaryphotos.net/forums/ (external link). These guys are headed for a great fall. Their members are lifting images off places like Getty Images, sticking them on a hosting site somewhere and then hot linking to them in that forum. They don't even attempt to remove the watermarks in the photos.
