They put me on a race horse that was a Maryland million competitor with over $300,000 in winnings. I got it done, didn't drop the whip, and the team won.
So have you always had this knack of being in the right place at the right time.
First the race and yesterday official photographer, pretty nice, must say.

I attempted to catch some more lightning shots using the broken tripod.
Cool. I'd like to get some lightening shots some night. Trouble is we are smak in the middle of town so lots of buildings, wires, etc. To go out and get them, well, might as well go out on a golf course with an iron in my hands. Playing lightening pole is not my idea of fun.
What would be ideal would be at my brother's as a storm is passing south of his place. He has a nice deck over his exposed basement. His land then slopes down, nice wide open area for these kinds of shots and I could set up a tripod in his dinning area and open the slider to shoot. He lives an hour away though so it would have to happen when we are out there eating, drinking and scratching.
G'MAE all. First morning since I got back from my trip that I woke up feeling totally rested. Now I hope the seminar keeps my interest and I don't get the sleepies...it starts at 12:30 and we are having brunch before. Think I'll have more than my usual amount of caffine just to be on the safe side.
Dan, I'll be sure to let you know how we liked it. I'm going to check out that target thingy with the idea of getting the smaller version. I'm sure Curt will say the Wbel card is just fine...and it might be, but; it is always in his bag.
