I'm trying to salvage some of yesterday's shots. Glowing sword, anyone??

Nice Wanda. :)

Any reputable breeder WILL take back their dogs for whatever reason. If the "breeder" won't, they're either a puppy mill (who don't care) or someone who paid no attention to the genetics and pedigree in arranging the mating (either "for the kids to experience . . . " or "to make some easy money"), just to whether both sire and dam had papers.

Here are two photos I finished.. thoughts? (and yes, I am on a thumbnail linking kick)

1. My Nephew, from the wife's side of the family. This guy grew up in Australia so he has a fun accent. :) I, once again, used Lisa's HDR ideas except instead of using LR I applied the same ideas to CS2. Let me know how you think this one came out?

2. Family walking on the beach. We were in Lincoln City, OR for a family vacation. We all got up REALLY early for low tide. (Also, what "share" would you classify this image in? I'm having a hard time placing it in either People or T&L? Ideas??)

The first one looks great at a larger size. You might want to clone out the matchstick man walking into his right hand though...

Nice Wanda. :)

Thanks Jim. :)

Its nice to know that some breeders are so careful about their dogs. I must only hear about the backyard breeders. Serious dog breeding is not a big thing around here, I don't think.

And....here's my bear save. She was a mess before PP, lol.

Thanks Jim, I like it a lot too. It's probably one of my favorites from that trip.

Pete, thanks for the feedback, I moved it.

Thanks, I hadn't even really paid attention to the background. I might go back and remove BOTH people. lol :) Goes to show how much experience I have in shooting people and PP'ing them.

I am having a lot of fun. If done properly that process really works and suits my tastes. It's fun trying out the settings to see what it does, i'm learning a lot too which I also enjoy.

I'm thinking that when I get through with my re-vamp of the galleries I'm going to print my favorites and make a massive photo wall at home and work. I have this giant cork board that has nothing on it at work and I have a large wall in the office that needs something on it.

Most of my walls at home and work are bare, Kody. I keep telling myself I'm going to print some stuff off and put it on the walls, but it never happens. I did one photo with istickup.com, and I loved the result but am having trouble keeping it on the wall. :( I need to get some adhesive 77, I think.

they are wall clings, Kody. They have slightly sticky backs.

edit: i think i should have dusted my wall before slapping the stickup up.

I'm the same. We have plenty of picture hooks on the wall (from the previous owners), but I've not got around to printing out any of my shots (too self-critical, I think).

They've been on the market for quite a while, mostly for kid-room decorations. I was looking for some stick-on birds for my kitchen and then found istickup.com, which makes wall-clings out of your own photos. Or you can buy theirs. I have an aversion to putting nails in walls, so I thought the clings would give me a way to hang my photos without using nails.
