I realize that most every where north of Texas will laugh at these pics...but we love any little sign of snow we get...you know, about once every 5 years! Although this makes the second year in a row we've seen snow!! Woo hoo global warming!

The first is a hoot! The second is typical. The others are the way kids are supposed to be when that white stuff falls from the sky!

Gratz on the snow. :-) I like the squirrel pic.

Global warming... the sky is falling (snow). Trust me... I'm a politician. :-)

I love poking fun at "man made" global warming! Reminds me of the "man made" global cooling (sky is falling) we used to hear about in the 70's due to someone freaking out about ozone. If you can herd enough people in the right direction (and control their direction) you might get their vote eh?

That poor Texas squirrel looks confused... and cold!

And kids, no matter where they're from, know what to do with snow. It must be innate.

Loved them all.

You'll make up for the chilly with some hot stuff tonight right Grace?

That poor little squirrel looks like he's freezing his nuts, I mean walnuts or pecans or whatever you grow in Texas!! ;)

And the pics of the kids are darling Grace! Nothing like a wet Spring blizzard to have a little fun in!

Thanks for posting, they turned out great :) :)

It hit a high of 50 today here, and it's raining hard right now. Love that series Kathy, it reminds me of when we used to live in Arlington Texas in the 90's - everyone was really happy when it snowed.Lots of people came out and played even though it was only 1 or so inches. Unfortunately, not everyone knew how to drive in icy conditions, so there were a lot of accidents and spin outs. I love 1, 2, and 8 best. Great action shot on the last!

Cool photos. Only way I'd get anything like that is ISO3200. Or driving up to Tahoe.
Looks like the kids had a great time, has the snow lasted? Could you actually get a snowball fight going?
