Long Exposure - Shanklin Beach - Isle of Wight

Here's a recent attempt at a long exposure, subsequently converted to b&w.

I've only had the ND110 filter a short while so I'm still getting to grips with it and for that matter, converting to b&w also.

C&C welcome and appreciated.

I'm a huge fan of the B+W 10 stop ND (which is the one I assume you have). There's great toning here. Personally, I think taking a shot of the groyne from the end of the railing, and thereby excluding it, would make a great and simple abstract.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. You are correct, it is the B+W 10 stop that I used.

Funnily enough, when I was converting the shot in CS2, I did play around with cropping so as to exclude the railing and liked the result. I will have another go in Photoshop and also try and reshoot on location.

By the way, I had a look at your gallery. Some great work! If anyone else reads this post, you'd be well advised to take a look at Milou's work.
