Well I officially managed to get my Smugmug Pro account customized to what I want, well for now atleast. I have been thinking about adding the flash Slideshow, to the Home page, that will come at a later date.
Comments are welcome in the About me section.
Please drop by the about me section and say hi, let me know that you visited.
Hope you enjoy a selection of my images.

Looking good! Check out the new homepage slideshow tutorial, and think about adding one. Really easy, and it looks great! I also noticed you don't have a guestbook - Might make another nice addition to your site!

Thank you for checking out my site. I Kind of have a guest book / comments section added to the about me page, but I have been thinking about opening up a separate guest book page.
the new homepage slide show tutorial you're referring too, where is this located?
Is it on the Dgrin website?
I tried adding the Flash Slide show a little while back and got frustrated with it. So I abandoned it for now.
It was bad enough figuring out the Drop downs and Fly outs.

Anyway, once again thank you for checking out my site.

Thanks for posting a comment Brandon, I'm definitely thinking of adding a separate guest book page.
I'm glad you liked the Macro shots :-)

I like it.... I don't like that you have to click so many sub links to get to the pics though.

That was part of the reason why I also added in the Drop links for the gallery tab, as each one drops down when the cursor hovers over a subject it will flyout with the subsequent link.
That is my one beef with my site is the number of clicks it takes to get to a pic.
I will have to take care of that.
Thank you for looking and commenting, I appreciate it.

Thank you for the high praises, you will, it just takes a little time and a lot of reading and practise.
I still have a long way to go myself.

Thank you also for taking the time to view and comment. I love these guys also, they're very inquisitive and very aware of what is going on around them.

Good site and great photos.
I have a non flash slideshow in my smugmug and it was fairly easy to do.

Karan
I checked out your site, looks very good, my only nit pick is the drop down and fly out spacings, the space is just enough to cancel out the fly out, I had that same problem and after a short while I got frustrated with it.
But other than that it looks great.

Thank you for the compliments, I will get a slide show up in the near future though.

I was going to mention that, too. Too many clicks to get to the actual galleries. If there's only one Astronomy Gallery, for example, you should be able to click once and go straight to it.

Hey allan, nice site. Why don't you buy a domain name for ten bucks or so and you can drop the smugmug from your url? I know what you mean about getting frustrated in making things work. Although smugmugs tech support answers the emails quickly it's still a long process customizing your site. For the price though you can't beat it and the fact that we get unlimited storage potential is the icing on the cake. I'm about to jump into more customization but at the moment my site is pretty messy... have a look.
