Just some pics of my little man who turns 2 next month.

My first time shooting in the snow. I shot on <P> (should have used <m>;) and in raw with EC +1. My focus was missed on a few but they work for snapshots. So, here are my faves:

OOF but still too cute!

My personal fave. Not as sharp as I would like but for a 4x6 for the photo album it'll work fine.

Shoot raw.
Shoot M.

Such a cutie Tiff. I think that you did a good job with the snow, it is not too blown out, or blue, or gray. Plus it looks like you had lots of fun. :)

They don't have to be spectacular to be fun, cute or important. Great shots and memories....your little man is a cutie pie!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Thanks Brooke! I was pretty happy with how the snow came out. Now I just need to work on the focus. ;)

Thanks! He is a cutie and he knows it. I sharpened the eyes on the last one some more and it looks better but still not as perfect as I'd want but I'll wait to pass final judgement when I get it printed.

I know. But, I seem to read once a week about how people HATE snapshots of other people's kids. That, and I didn't want people to think that I was another MWAC trying to pass myself off as a pro. They were just an experiment in shooting in the snow and nothing artistic since I was out to just capture the moment. I really do a much better job when I plan things out and think more. But, I wanted to SEE the fun too not just be stuck behind the camera. And, thanks, he is a cutie (but I am biased). I hope his little sibling will be just as cute.

Thanks you! I know I will look back on them fondly even with their issues.

Thanks Pete! He did have a blast out there. Daddy got a little cold but that's too bad. ;)
