Big Manitou Falls, Pattison State Park, WI.

This is a photo of the highest waterfall in Wi. located in the very northwest of the state. We camped there last summer and loved it! It's a photographer's DREAM! I found plenty to keep me busy! LOL! We're going back again this summer as well. We loved climbing the gorge at the falls in Amnicon St. Park, which is just 25 minutes away. Anyhow, this is Big Manitou Falls at the Pattison State Park. It's measured at 165 feet from top to bottom. Falls into the Black River, which suprisingly enough is the same river which flows thru the town where I live as well, half a state away. This is the only part of the falls you can see from the trail across the gorge. I have more from the same side of the gorge, but you don't see very much of it there either. lol

Done in shutter priority mode, handheld I might add. :-)

Nice, do you ever get up to Goosebury or Temperance River in Minnesota? They're good too.
