I recently purchased an A570 and since that time all pictures that i send are embedded in the email and not sent as an attached file. Is there any way that I can change this?

What mail program do you use, and how are you mailing the photos?

I'm using AOL and attaching them from my document files.

Unless you're using Canon's software in the actual mailing process, that would be between AOL and Windows. I'm assuming AOL provides a way for you to select the file to be e-mailed; I don't use that program.

When you open up the new mail window there is a button on the bottom left of the screen that says "Attach File". Click on that button and then pick what pictures you want to upload.
