I'm considering the purchase of the Sigma EM-140 Macro Ringlight for my EF-S 60 macro.
Is anyone using this combo? Does it work well at 1:1 magnification? I plan to use it for flowers and insects.
Thanks for your advice.

Is the Canon MR-14 considerably softer out of the box? That's as much as I might want to spend eventually - the MT-24 is expensive indeed. Is the working distance from the attached ringlight to the subject still enough for even lighting at 1:1? The WD for the bare EF-S 60 is about 9 cm. iv have never used the mr-14ex.u should go to here http://nocroppingzone.blogspot.com …-14ex-verses-mt-24ex.html Uk prayingmantis forum - http://www.dragonscrest.co.uk/forums/index.php
