Beautiful shot. Nice focus. Pelicans are such graceful birds to watch soaring above the water. They look so clumsy on land, then they take off and wow you.

Contrast curves to give it a little boost, and some sharpening. Nice framing, good exposure (slightly over exposed), good focus.

I normally like your edits, but in this case I prefer the original because I think that the sharpening is too strong. Of course, working with a reduced and compressed jpg isn't the easiest thing to do.
