Yup, there we were, me and the missus...The Moon, her and her El Cheapo tripod, me and a fence post for a rest...
Lord, did we shoot the JPGs...
Oh, for a honking big telephoto.... 
Anyway, she did pretty well, using the tripod and that nifty little G-1 remote to trigger the camera without touching it. Cropped and blown 200%, some of her's came out pretty good. Lots of 8 second exposures ...
My efforts were not even a good joke, but I got to nip her on the neck, out there in the dark, as she 'worked'...
